I
On the pearls

Freshwater and shell.

We work in two kinds of pearl. Freshwater pearls bring an honest, organic surface, no two quite alike. Shell-based pearls bring a deeper, more even lustre and a little more weight in the hand.

Each is chosen for an overtone you can name, whether cool white, warm champagne, or slate mist, and never bleached into sameness.

II
On the metal

18k gold PVD on high-grade steel.

Every piece is built on high-grade stainless steel, several on 316L surgical grade, and finished with 18k gold through a process called PVD: physical vapour deposition. The gold is bonded to the steel under heat and vacuum, not brushed on as a thin plating.

The result is water-resistant, hypoallergenic, and far more durable than gold plating. It will not tarnish, fade, flake, or turn the skin green.

III
On why it matters

Made for every day.

This combination is what lets us make jewellery for the everyday rather than for the drawer. You do not have to take it off to wash your hands, shower, or swim, and it will look the same in five years as it does on the first morning.

IV
On caring for it

Very little.

The metal asks nothing. The pearls like a soft, dry cloth now and then, and a little distance from perfume and harsh cleaners.
