Our pieces are for people who do not want jewellery to enter a room before they do. They are made to be reached for without thinking and worn through the ordinary hours, asking only that they are set down before water and kept from perfume, so the pearls hold their lustre for years rather than seasons.

Pearlwyn
“Pearl” comes from the Latin for rare beauty, wisdom, and a grace formed slowly over time, a quiet symbol of purity and serenity. The suffix “-wyn,” from Old English and Welsh, means fair, blessed, or white: everything Perlas Atelier hopes to be.
This was my very first design. It began as a study in acrylic and glass beads, moving through many combinations of findings, until I came back to freshwater pearls to bring it to life.

What goes into a piece: the pearls, the metal, and the way each one is finished.
Freshwater and shell-based pearls, chosen for an even surface and a soft, honest lustre. We match each piece by overtone, not just size.
18k gold PVD bonded to high-grade stainless steel. Water-resistant, hypoallergenic, and made to hold its colour. It will not tarnish, fade, or mark the skin.
Each piece is checked, wiped, and wrapped before it is sent, with a card on how to live with it, made to be worn, not saved.

No monthly letters and no marketing, only a short note when a new piece is finished, or a small collection is ready to be poured. Sometimes weeks apart, sometimes months.
