Across Australia.
We currently post across Australia. If you are further afield and would like a piece, you are warmly welcome to write to us at pia@perlasatelier.com and we will see what we can arrange.
Each piece is made by hand, in small batches. Here is how your order reaches you, and what to do in the rare event something isn’t right.
We currently post across Australia. If you are further afield and would like a piece, you are warmly welcome to write to us at pia@perlasatelier.com and we will see what we can arrange.
Because each piece is handcrafted, your order is carefully prepared before it is sent. Please allow up to five to seven business days for us to make it ready and hand it to Australia Post.
If a piece you would like is resting between batches, we may be able to make it for you. Made-to-order pieces take up to ten business days to create, on top of the usual five to seven to dispatch. We will keep you gently updated along the way.
Once your order is on its way, a note with tracking follows, so you can watch its journey.
Every order travels with Australia Post. Once it is dispatched, delivery rests in their hands, and timeframes depend on where you are and their current estimates.
Occasionally a parcel takes a little longer during busy periods, or for reasons beyond our control. If we expect a delay at our end, we will let you know.
We pack with care so your piece arrives safely. If your order does not arrive within a reasonable time, or arrives damaged, please write to us at pia@perlasatelier.com and we will make it right.
Because each piece is handmade in small batches, and for reasons of hygiene with pieces such as earrings, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind. We ask that you choose with care.
If you have any question about sizing, materials, colour, or styling before you order, please reach out at pia@perlasatelier.com. We are always glad to help you find the right piece.
This does not affect your rights when an item is faulty, set out below.
Despite our care, a piece may occasionally arrive faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described. If that happens, please get in touch at pia@perlasatelier.com as soon as you can, with your order number and a photo if possible, and we will make it right.
In these cases you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the problem this will be a repair, replacement, or refund. Where the issue is major, the choice between a refund and a replacement is yours. If a return is needed because of a fault, we cover reasonable return postage, and any refund includes the original shipping you paid.
A manufacturing fault is a problem caused by how a piece was made, rather than by accident, misuse, or ordinary wear over time. For our jewellery, that includes things such as:
The following are not considered manufacturing faults, as they fall outside how the piece was made:
If you are ever unsure which category your concern falls into, please just ask. We would always rather look into it with you.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These rights apply to every purchase and cannot be excluded.
Every piece leaves the atelier having been made with intention, and we hope it becomes something you reach for often. If anything about your order needs attention, we would genuinely rather hear from you than have you wonder. You can always reach us at pia@perlasatelier.com.
With care,Perlas Atelier
